Thames Primary Academy

Igniting imagination through exciting, innovative and inspirational teaching in a climate that encourages risk-taking in learning

In 2018 Ofsted said…..

“The leadership team has maintained the good quality of education in the school since the last inspection. You and your staff continue to provide a harmonious learning community.”

“Parents and carers told me that their children ‘can’t wait to get here each day’ and that they would attend at weekends if they could. Pupils reiterated this enthusiasm for school life.”

“As an inclusive school, you work tirelessly to reduce any barriers to learning that pupils may have. For example, pupils have access to a range of therapies and opportunities to develop their social and emotional skills in readiness for learning.”

Proud to be...

Welcome to Thames Primary Academy. School and Nursery are fully open to all pupils from Monday 8th March. All parents and carers must wear a face covering when they are dropping off or collecting their children. This will help to keep everyone in our school community safe. Thank you.

Thames Primary Academy

I hope our website will give you some insight into our school and what we do here.

At Thames Primary Academy we work hard to provide the best education we can for our pupils and we are continuously driving for improvement – living up to our motto,

“Let Your Potential Soar!”

At Thames, we take the ‘whole child’ into account. We want our pupils to leave school with excellent subject knowledge and skills, but also to leave as caring, respectful, tolerant and enthusiastic learners, who are well-equipped to become good citizens.
