At Thames Primary Academy, we use a secure, cashless payment system through the Arbor App and Parent Portal. This allows you to top up meal accounts, pay for school trips, and book wraparound or extra-curricular clubs easily from your phone or computer.
How to Make a Payment
1. Paying for School Meals
- Open the App/Portal: Log into the Arbor App or Parent Portal.
- Navigate to Accounts: From the main dashboard, scroll down to the Accounts section (or tap Quick Actions – Payments).
- Select Meals: Tap on Meals to view your child’s current meal balance and meal history.
- Top Up: Tap the green Top Up Account button.
- Set Amount: Enter the bill payer details, specify the amount you would like to top up, and tap Pay Now.
2. Paying for School Trips
- Locate Trips: Go to Quick Actions – Trips (or find Activities – Trips on the main menu).
- Select the Trip: You will see a list of Eligible Trips assigned to your child. Tap the trip name to view details (dates, consent forms, and costs).
- Add Consent & Pay: If required, confirm your consent, select whether you are paying in full or making a deposit/instalment payment, and tap Pay Now.
3. Booking & Paying for Clubs
- Locate Clubs:Go to Quick Actions – Clubs (or Activities – Clubs).
- Choose a Club: Select from the available clubs for your child’s year group.
- Register & Pay: Choose your preferred session days and proceed to checkout to confirm the booking and complete any payment required.
Accepted Payment Methods
You can complete payments using the following secure methods:
- Debit or Credit Card: Visa, Mastercard, and American Express.
- Apple Pay: Fast, 1-touch checkout on Apple devices.
- Google Pay: Quick checkout on Android devices or Chrome browsers.
- Tax-Free Childcare & Childcare Vouchers:Can be used specifically for eligible wraparound care and qualifying school clubs.
Tip: You can track all past transactions and download receipts at any time by navigating to Payments – Invoices / Transaction History within your Arbor profile.
