Thames Tigers is registered to provide childcare for children attending Thames Primary Academy.
The (paid) Breakfast Club operates from 7:45am until 8:25am. We now also offer the government funded FREE BREAKFAST CLUB for all school aged children from 8.25am-8.55am.
The After School Club operates from 3:20pm until 5:45pm Mondays to Thursdays and 3:20pm until 5:15pm on Fridays, during term time only.
Breakfast Club fees are £3.00 per day and children get a choice of healthy breakfast options to choose from. The free breakfast club also offers a choice of healthy options for those who require breakfast too.
After School Club fees are £5.00 Monday to Thursday (until 4:45 pm), £7.00 Monday to Thursday (until 5:45 pm) and £6 on Fridays (until 5.15pm). Children also get a nutritious tea time savoury snack provided which might include for example fruit, vegetables, sandwiches, bagels, beans on toast, hot dogs, burgers or crumpets. Individual dietary requirements and parental preferences will be met wherever possible.
The clubs provide a safe, secure and relaxed environment for the children in our care. We endeavour to provide a wide range of activities and a welcoming environment for all children. The clubs are based in a purpose built suite of rooms which are well suited for art, crafts, construction, cookery activities and creative play, We also have a Nintendo Wii, film watching facilities and access to books and lots of board games. The children have full access to the KS1 playground, the climbing and play equipment and the OPAL resources, which they enjoy very much.
Booking Clubs
Booking places for Thames Tigers (our breakfast and after school clubs) is quick and easy using the Arbor App or Parent Portal. Once logged in, navigate to the Activities section on your dashboard and select Clubs. From there, choose the club you want to book (Breakfast Club or After School Club), and select the dates your child will be attending. Simply top up your account balance if required, confirm your booking, and your child’s spot will be reserved instantly.
Please note that all wraparound care sessions must be booked and paid for in advance; if you need help logging into Arbor, please contact the school office.
Collecting your child
Please enter through the main school entrance and head up the stairs to Thames Tigers. Ring the door bell and someone will be with you as soon as possible.
In the summer, if the children are playing on the KS1 playground, they can be collected directly from the school gates.
